Early start this morning as it is our last day and we need to be packed and ready to catch the shuttle by 1pm. Our flight to Miami leaves from Newark airport in New Jersey. It took over an hour just to get out of Manhatten let alone the trip to Newark airport, the traffic was crazy. We went down to Times Square this morning to be part of the live ABC Good Morning America show and then went to Rockefeller Centre to be part of the NBC Today show. They both do live broadcasts from outside and ...

Having been advised previously that Americans do not sell good cheese I thought I would attempt to disprove this myth. Jake, for guiding me through my technical frustrations/inabilities and his patience and generous nature. And ...

Early office closing, but still leave a bit early to get to Newark ahead of my 7:25 flight. Been having a lot of difficult with the NJ Transit system recently, but turned out to be ...

Today we headed down to the very south of Manhattan, and our first stop was at the 9/11 Memorial. The museum is still being constructed, but the two waterfall type memorials where the twin towers once stood are really beautifully done. The names of those who died are inscribed in the marble, and a white rose is placed on their name on their birthday. Next we went over to get a ferry over to the Statue of Liberty, but unfortunately trips to the ...
