... a detour around the crash site and get off the bus as close as we could to get to the subway and then home. After dinner we took a short walk to the Dakota Hotel which was the site of the shooting of John Lennon in 2000. We then went to Strawberry Fields area in Central Park and saw the place that Yoko Ono dedicated a memorial to her late husband.
... sightseeing and some shopping. Time got away on us and before we knew it it was 10pm and we were just having tea. Back to the Hotel at 11.59pm. Would you believe Tash and KC were awake at 6.30am! Quiet day at Hotel today, time to catch up on washing and recharge, not to mention do this marathon blog! So that is our week. Sorry to bore you ... So proud of the girls, their patience and good spirits in trying times. Great team work!
Up early after our big night last night! Didn`t end up too bad after all of those cocktails last night!! So we went and visited the 9/11 memorial. OMG! what a beautiful place! Such an emotional day for those involved, as it was the dedication day where Obama opened the museum to victim`s families and survivors. (We seem to be caught up everywhere Obama is of late.) I thought it was lovely how keepers of the garden place ...
