... course everyone was stopping to take pictures of the views. Its another great way to see the city. I had already gone across the bridge on bike when I came to NYC with the girls last year but it was nice to do it on foot too. After crossing the bridge we made our way to the WTC 9/11 Memorial. The new WTC is breathtaking and looks like it goes on forever. The tall buildings around it look miniscule in comparison. The memorial is very somber and I think absolutely perfect for what it ...
Rested up and then planned to re-visit Eatily place but there was a 1.5 hour wait! Instead went to "Shake Shack" in Madison Gardens. Ruth and Tom played table tennis and it was great occasion but burgers bit greasy (chocolate shake better than strawberry!).
We have discovered Ruth can't eat burgers. May be a problem........
Setting off for Boston tomorrow. Looking forward to quieter days ahead.

After a very late sleep in, we venture into the subway and find our way to the World Trade Centre memorial. The subway reminds Tiz of the ninja turtles movies. It is super super noisy and everyone seems to be alone, tired and depressed. The trains must actually suck the life out of people! The WTC memorial is really well done.
