Dallas (23/06) People that know us might wonder if we came to Texas just to see cowboys and eat steak...well you are pretty much right! However, for the majority of our first day in Dallas we could have been anywhere. We didn't leave the hotel till about half 7 at night as today was a ‘work day’. Planning a route to cover as many …

So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

... here again. We settle in for the evening and find, to our delight, that we have HOT water. Wow - I love things that fix themselves! Later that evening, I am reading emails and read a post from one of John's inquiries saying that some late model RVs have a system that heats the hot water as you travel so it is not interrupted every time you are on the road. MAKES SENSE. BAH! HUMBUG!
