... It wasn't as good as home, but it was exactly what I needed! Perfect road trip food! A few more hours on the road, and we made it into Wichita, Kansas. When we left Houston, it's was sunny and 95 degrees. In Wichita, it's night and 59 degrees. Looks like I'm going to bust out the jeans tomorrow! We will have about six more hours to Denver before we meet up with another high school classmate for a weekend of Broncos ...

It is fine, but a working camp RV park just doesn't have the same feel as a park that is mainly for those of us who are passing through. John is out (again!!) washing Muf's face...and oh, yes...the temperature when we pulled in here was (Ta Da!!) 98 degrees! Yikes!

It sorta felt like we were camping on an airport runway. Good laundry, showers, and restrooms. (Hey, those things are important!)

... tend to do when you have been married forever and ever Amen. We had passed many, many different denominations of churches that even though they were fairly small appeared to be doing well. We then talked about different belief systems, the effects of poverty on beliefs, the customs of different "flavors" of churches, and other social mores. We needed some of our more ruminative friends along to add some depth to the conversation!

... repast at an ice cream shop. And then we headed into the worst wind that we had had in 7 days. The farmland has been flooded by the rains and many of the crops will be lost this year. Sad since the last 5 years have been a draught. We move ...
