        Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

        ... Georgia/Alabama State Line. Had a burger lunch at our stop at Birmingham. Rained for a short while. Lots more varied scenery on the way. Packed as much as possible. Sat with a nice man from Washington DC having a train break without his wife. Enjoyed talking trains. Unfortunately it grew dark by 6:00 which spoilt the arrival into New Orleans.         ... then and is impressive now with ever-continuing constructions and expansion of it's marble empire. I met the rest of the team in the lobby as we headed to the dining hall for dinner. Seems like a very small but nice team.. The psychology instructor apparently called the HR this morning and said she's not coming. Oook... I'm not sure how they will replace her in one week. ...

        ... a first class seat, 2D, makes traveling across the pond all the better! Bid Jeff "goodbye" & boarded. Something must be wrong with me, because I declined the "on board" champagne. Knew I must really be disgusted with my weight gain if I passed on a glass of bubbly!

        ... in the middle of Atlanta called Piedmont Park - the walk there was lovely in the sunshine & we found a million fit runners :) most of the guys with their tops off & what a shame we had to witness their very toned bodies......we stumbled across a dog park & an outdoors swimming pool before it suddenly started chucking it down!! We ran for cover under a bridge & got chatting to a local who recommended a place ...
