Much too quickly, the last days of our stint in Bremen came and went. We dusted off the suitcases and started packing, cleaned up our apartment and said goodbyes to Eddie's cousins, our favourite places, and some fantastic memories. I know for Eddie, Bremen is home, and I love the town just as much. It is the perfect size. It has everything we need, lots of vegan cafes and restaurants, but it isn't a huge, big city. ... a lot, beautiful big flakes and with the wind whipping it up and into little drifts. We spent no less than 3 hours looking out the window, opening the window to catch it in our hands, and I even popped out to have a walk around on our snowy sidewalk! It's been getting pretty cold now too, down to -8 at night the other night!!!

After our long jaunt through Europe, our Eurail pass was coming to an end and it was time to finally head up North to Bremen, Eddie's old home town where all of his family are from and where he spent 5 years of his childhood – growing up, going to school, playing football. We’ve visited Bremen many times now and each time we return it is a nice comfortable feeling. For Eddie it feels a lot like coming home, for me it feels like a cosy glove. ...
