... kind of akwardly standing there, cause he wasn't going behind the garbage can with me! By then the tour group was a bit ahead. Josh jumped over a fence, I followed him, and we ran... As if for our lives! To be honest I'm pretty sure the whole tour group could see us running because of their vantage point on the bridge! ... doors of the ferry got stuck so nobody could get off. In the end, free drinks were issued, the boat was turned round and, 3 hours later, the lorries were reversed off and we were able to get on our way.
We drove 80 km and arrived at our campsite (Monte Royal), having gone over a mountainous area with snow poles already in situ at the side of the road, at 10.15pm but, being Spain, were able to order a simple meal at the bar. It was a chilly evening at this altitude.

... by an interesting group of people, everyone had there own organization and rules. It was funny and confusing. We picked a spot in the back of the dorm room next to the window.

Even though the beach was quite a walk, We made the trek and as always it was well worth the refreshing salty swim. After the beach we took ourselves to a few grocery stores and bought some pre-made ...

... some for Ryan as he was still throwing up. The pharmacist also recommended this very concentrated electrolyte drink to keep him hydrated. Ugh I felt so bad for him.

I must say though, that the rest of us really weren't that upset for having to spend the whole day at the beach ;) We laid in the sun, went swimming, ate bocadillos and ice cream in the sand, it was a really nice and relaxing day. Ryan eventually wandered down ...

... so hot oatmeal was a treat. However we did not pass an open bar for miles. Needless to say we were desperate for coffee. Every place we walked through had bars that didn't open for hours.
