... as you approach men dressed in typical German clothes sitting on the porches play musical intruments as a welcome. You can then stop and have a beer, sausages, coffee and cake and then continue on through the forest. All magical. ... was all types of foods and wines. The Bratwursts where over a foot long and in a bun were $4. Our friends were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them.
We have been picked up by my cousin and his wife Hans and Birgitt and were driven to their place along the autobahn at 160km/h and were being overtaken by cars at about 200kms/h all pretty scary but safe. We are now with them in Goldkronach Bavaria, so Prost, Salute, Cheers.

... As we were travelling we departed East Germany and entered the Bavarian region, wow it is so pretty. Our first stop on this long day would be after lunch at the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth. There is a memorial garden dedicated to Richard Wagner, however around. We had so much fun today. We toured around the city on Segway and it was awesome. Although there was some blood shed (I.e. Erin and Jacob), fun was had by all.
