Later on that day after sailing down the first gorge, we swapped to a smaller boat to sail down the small gorges. After listening to the songbirds, off back up the other way here to the computer cafe. Once finished here I'll have an early night tonight and up in plenty of time to pack and catch the 8:30 bus to Guangzhou tomorrow morning, a 5 or 6 hour ...

Having no luggage to worry about I was more comfortable sitting down with pen and paper and a 2008 copy of "Lonely Planet: China", busily checking the Guangdong section and the basic survival phrasology section in the back of the book for the characters for:
"I'd like a" (wo xiang yao)
"Guangzhou" (guang zhou)
"one way ticket" (dan cheng piao)
Need to get away from the hustle and bustle Wuzhou is the place ;)

The shopping was awesum jade, tea sets, and gems fabulous.
The food was divine salty but divine ;)!

We eventually checked a few hotels, either full or overpriced. At Lisa's we found the 24-hour side entrance and someone showed us their one remaining room. It was okay but about half the size of the Xie Jie at a slightly higher cost. And internet at Lisa's is no longer free as it is just ...
