... its myriad of old buildings, and found somewhere to have some lunch, which took a bit of time. One thing really sprang to mind at the time - despite knowing that the vast majority of people spoke English, when you're on your own and everybody speaks a first language you can't understand, and for me I don't expect that they should understand me (even if they do), the world can be an incredibly lonely place, and I felt it a little today. Today's journey on the super fast Thlys was everything we were hoping for! The train was amazing - passing at times, cars ...

... Right out in the open. Unbelievable. All you stoners out there, gotta come here...this is Marijuana Mecca! Sorry to disappoint, but we did not partake. I was amazed that they sell cookies, candies, soft drinks and everything else you can imagine laced with pot. Not making a value judgment. Just an observation.

We ended up having dinner at a small burger and beer joint. Nice place, again filled with nice people. ...

... Bradden had a go at shouting arrows at balloons and we went in to a few coffee shops to look around. We sat down in one and Bradden rolled and we had a hot chocolate each. After this we ate and headed back to the room. We were supposed to wake up Wednesday morning and skype Bradden's sister but for some reason the alarm didn't go off and we didn't wake up until 12! Oops! I showered and got ready and so did Bradden and by the time we did all this it was around 2 so ...
