... something different we haven't seen all through Europe. It was an enjoyable evening, and the waitress keeper the wine glass topped up throughout the 2 hour cruise, and we enjoyed the cheeses too. After we docked, there was a light design/display not too far from the docks, which we had a better look after, then we took the long way back to the hotel while grabbing a late dinner around 11pm, then crashed out at the hotel. Sleeping in the hotel not possible, sleeping in the van in the middle of a city not ideal. Again Hakan provides the best option ever. He invites me AND Haku to his home two streets away and even lets us crash in his room! We immediately feel at home as he provides us a key, shower, kitchen for use. Morning time ...

One chick brought a guy on stage, danced ...

... despair. My last day in Amsterdam was definitely a highlight of my Europe trip so far. The morning was chilled, a bike ride into the city and through the beautiful Vondelpark where we stopped and enjoyed a picnic brunch by one of the canals and taking in the beauty of the gardens. Then after a relaxing morning it was then onto the Amsterdam Gay Pride Canal Parade and then a Gay street party with Milou and her friends! I have never experienced anything like ...

... t sleep in. The taxi was early, and so was I, and on the way to the airport at 4:30. I got there at 0500, and it isn’t a huge airport.
It kind of felt like Edmonton Intl. Except there was a huge number of people checking in for a dozen flights, all leaving before 0700, flying off to places like Tel Aviv, Milan, Paris, Stockholm….not so much like Edmonton! I was through security and having ...
