      ... We went up and down the hillside seeing about 100 petroglyphs while walking about a mile. It was very cool and only took a little more than an hour. From there we had a decision to make. We could head towards Carlsbad and get to Roswell (our targeted destination for camping tonight) before dark or we could make another stop.
