... was good and bad about the trip was the trips in and out to Molokini were both a little over an hour. We drove to Maalaea Harbor, which appears to be the main port on Maui (that's where the ferry to Lanai lands), so the trip back South to Molikini takes a while.

... around the island and absolutely loved it. However, we had people come up to us who had been on the boat saying that Chelsea screamed her head off!!! Lunch was a yummy buffet with some entertainment by the deckhands. After lunch we headed back to the harbour under sail - it was really beautiful. We were also lucky enough to see some sea turtles on way back.

... she asked the kids if they wanted Teddy Bear or Whale shaped pancakes. I have to say, it required quite a bit of imagination to see either of those shapes on the plates that were delivered to them, but the kids were happy to be asked, and didn't seem to care when they tore into breakfast. ... I'm looking forward to that. Last night we found a little local place called Joe's Bar and Grill and the food was delicious. Don't let the name fool you....it was a very fancy place...no grill or bar in sight. Steve tried an appetizer called a "Beet Tower" which was beets layered with goat cheese and some kind of dressing over it all...it was surprisingly very good.
