      ... were thousands, glad we were inside under cover. Heading back to the hotel for a nightcap, got there at approx, 9.30....bar closed, room service finished all at 9pm!       ... of our time in Oz surrounded by (often annoying) 18 yr olds.

      Whilst at the golf club a slightly crazy looking man said we must go down to the ‘V’ (harbour wall) as there is often wildlife spotted there. So after lunch we did just that and walked along the harbour wall. The rocks that have been put down to shelter the bay had all been gratified, but the good kind with people drawing pictures or just putting nice words or messages. ...

      ... to ignore Sal and head back to the highway, arriving at Petr and Brenda's around 4.30.

      Was so lovely to see our old friends again and we quickly popped the champagne and got into the nibbles, before a delicious curry dinner that Brenda had prepared.

      ... out we decided to go to the river nearer the town. We would have headed there first but the fact we technically needed a fishing license to fish deterred us seeing as the river was where all the fishermen go. That said we always had British naivety on our side which seemed to work quite well at getting out of tricky situations.
