    Well we went to a truck stop to fill up as the gas was supposed to be cheaper $3.89/gal) but they fill for you. After we filled we were still at the pump and had not started our engine an elderly man towing a boat pulled in front of the RV and hit the front of the RV with both his boat and trailer.     In Pendleton, we toured the Pendleton Underground. Story goes, back in late 1800's there was no law in this town and merchants were getting ripped off. Their goods would arrive at train depot and not get much further. So, the merchants hired Chinese labor to dig 4 miles of tunnels under the city.
