    ... snack tonight too.

Time difference got the better of us though and we are up at 7:00am this morning (12:00pm midday to you) ready to go. I'm sure we will adjust as time goes on (probably on the train to Chicago thinking about it).

We are heading out into Manhattan this morning to get breakfast and then to just do a bit of sight seeing really. I'm sure this will be where the photos start coming in. Stay tuned.

Days like this are the reason for going on this adventure, and to think we're only just getting started :) ...

Construction Construction Construction all over this place. The ferry ride was in the rain for the most part so a little ...

... to go the final of the US open tennis tournament that night but despite none of the top of 4 seeds being in it the tickets were still very expensive and way out of our budget. Instead we had sushi in and watched The Whistleblower, a film based on true events which is very hard hitting.

... they were a little pretentious with their hipster whiskey, but these guys know what they are talking about! I was so surprised that it was so good. We tasted the chocolate whiskey last. To make this they used left over husks from the cacao beans used by Mast Brothers, a Brooklyn craft chocolate maker that just happened to be my next stop, and infused their moonshine with it. This one was my favorite. It wasn't sweet but you could still taste the dark chocolate. It was ...
