      So I took the subway to "Bowling Green" at the south of Manhattan, and there I took the free ferry to Staten Island (read "stetten" island).       ... on rye and Ellen had a Taylor ham on onion roll. Wonderful to say the least. We caught the bus and off we went to the South Street Seaport.
