... affordable, even with the annual sale and an extra 10% with a Harrods card. The suitcase was large, so we had them hold it for us at we split up and explored the gigantic department store on our own. I had a blast and Pete was in seventh heaven looking at all the designer watches. Fortunately for the bank account no time piece purchases were made, but there were a few smaller items that ended up on our credit card. Tee hee! We picked up our suitcase and caught ...

Again the flight went smoothly and finally we were touching down on London soil. A long wait through border security due to massive queues (shouldn't have given up my British passport as they went straight through) and then on to retrieve ...

Lazing our way to London

A travel blog entry by ozraftery on Aug 19, 2014

Today we got up at normal time and went straight to breakfast. Once again, everyone managed to eat heaps, although Maddy was blowing up because there were no hash browns. After breakfast we packed our bags and then went to the pool. Mum read the newspaper whilst everyone else went swimming. It was really nice in the pool and it wasn't too hot in the sun. After swimming we went and go ready to go to the airport. We then checked out and walked to the Metro and caught the train directly ...
