... you goosebumps it was so good, just a wonderful experience, we had drinks, chippies and chocolate delivered to us at the start of the show and again at half time which made us feel very special, all in all we throughly enjoyed ourselves. At the hotel afterward we stopped at the bar for a quick drink, well two wines later and we were a little more merry than anticipated, not sure what percentage the wine was but it sure had a kick! ... of them Tommy was in aw of. We then ran out of time there with them closing at 5:30, and us arriving at 4pm. Tommy would have loved more time. After the Museum we headed over to the Buckingham Palace to try and catch a pic with the easel announcing the birth of the Princess, but unfortunately it was already taken down :( We did find out her name which is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana!! Today we went to Lord's Cricket Stadium and the MCC, which is the club that is associated with Lord's. It was a really nice and historic stadium. The facilities were really nice. Their pavilion was super nice and old, which made the historic factor that much better. The coaches there taught us the basics of cricket and then we played a little bit. I wasn't much of a hitter, but I got the pitching down pretty quick during our first drill we did. Hitting was hard because ...

... day intending to see St Paul's Cathedral. We didn't get very far before we ran into roadblocks and people all dressed up. We had found ourselves at the start of the Lord Mayor's Show. We stayed for most of the parade, 170 or so groups/floats (whatever you call them). When it was finally over, we decided against trying to get to St Paul's, as the parade was still going between us and the Cathedral.

The best thing about today was visiting the Clink. The old jail down by the Thames. It was a bit scary at first. There was lots of information and it fits with the First Fleet things we have learned at school. The swords were really heavy. It was pretty gruesome!
