Stopped at the Galleria on the way home (Fray got more stuff!) and then home by 5.30pm. Snow flakes on the windscreen as we drove home. Day 7 (Sunday, Oct. 26) Rest day and we got to meet with Rachel and her two boys, Luke and James. It was a lovely day!

Day 8 (Monday, Oct. 27) Climbed Minty (5.4 with a 5.5 finish, 3 pitches, 250 feet) Frog's Head (5.5, 2 pitches, 150 feet) and Strictly From Nowhere (5.7, 2 pitches, 170 feet). There were a lot of roofs to climb today. Frog's Head was soooo slippery on the rocks in the beginning, but the rest of the ...

... outing to Olana for the group this sunday but there were not enough takers so it was cancelled and oddly, there we were, four of us! Including Emma. Emma and I had to run because our house tour was just about to begin. I really enjoyed the tour and the description of the Churches' life there. Then we headed back home.

Not sure I remember much about the morning before we arrived in Hyde Park to visit the FDR site. I still am a bit confused - having been excited by the fact that the National Park Service ran something here....but not everything. I did get us a reduction on the FDR Home tour I think with my Senior Pass as well as free admission to the Library and Museum - or was it the other way around?? We had to wait for the house tour so we went into the ...
