Whew! What a day! Took a cab (a 2 HOUR CAB) from our hotel down to the Gateway to India, where we were bombarded by men wanting to sell us trinkets or take our photo to sell us the image. It was quite a lovely arch, as such things go. The next day we went on a really interesting tour(www.realitytourandtravels.com) of the Dharavi slum, notorious ...

... going to be the issue. On 11th may my new agent told me that everything was sorted out and Neil's passport is being dispatched. We were to have it in our hand on 12th May ! But.....

The whole of 12th May passed, however there was no passport ! I immediately sounded the agent out. On 14th May he found out that passport officer who had to put in his final signature had proceeded on an unannounced leave. Nobody was sure when he would be back ! There ...

... are going in India, moreover, it turns out the the poor people have the majority of the vote and easily can get convinced to vote for a certain party –through a small financial contribution. The Mumbai Times reported that there is an estimated $500 Billion of Indian money (from corruption) sitting on Swiss bank accounts. If this would be split over all poor people in India (about 40-50%), then each poor person would get Rps 50,000, which is a fortune for ...
