... better and more comfortable being down at the club. Our first game was a success where we won with one wicket in hand in the last over. We bowled first and the opposition made 203 in there 45 overs, they looked like making 300 but it was only the top four batsmen who made runs for them, they fell away pretty quickly after that. This morning we woke at 7am which is a big difference to the last two early mornings we have had, we woke up at a normal hour! We packed up our luggage and I had a quick phone call with mum on messenger and Skype with Steve. It certainly makes being away from home easier knowing we can contact them any time of the day. ... continued the local life by having dinner and drinks at the George Inn (opposite the church so the whole community seemed to pour out of one building and into the other). The food was delicious and the servings generous. Even better was the feeling in the room, it was like being at a family barbecue with everybody chatting easily and children spreading their toys on the stairs.
