... who work there whenever we are in Otley.

This morning we mooched around OtleyTuesday market with Barbara, Jill and Gary.
Of course we stopped for coffee at Hebe's, and went into Weegmanns for pork pies for Paul and Jill. We also hit most of the charity shops in town and I finally found a cup and saucer that kinda matches the tea set I bought here about ten years ago.

... it is as Paul went there in the 40's and Barbara went there in the 20's-30"s and it wasn't new then!
As we stood across the street talking about it, a woman walking nearby recognized Barbara and came over to talk to her. Turns out they went to that school together. And they had not seen each other for at least 40 years, but still recognized each other. I was impressed.

... would be good to simply visit the churches where his relatives had been married. What luck! As appears to be the practice in this zone, the churches have re-laid the gravestones as paving stones surrounding the actual church. Within minutes of arriving at St Chad’s Church in Rochdale, we had success. It was obvious that local stone was harder, and has survived in much better condition. ... walking trails, a zoo, children's play areas, and ponds. The museum is on the grounds where Captain Cook was born although the little shack-like home is no longer standing.
