A real summer's day, and we drove to Aya & Chris's, and he and Sakura took us in our car to Lake Vasona County Park. It was really nice there, and we went for a ride on the train, and Sakura and Chris went on the carousal too. ... the very recent memories of the homeless begging coins beneath the pier in Santa Barbara. Every time I visit the USA, I love it here but I have such great difficulty with the chasm between the homeless and the obscenely wealthy.
