Today we drove through the center of the park. We did a short trail walk in the afternoon and then headed to Clingman's dome (6643ft high) for sunset - around 5:30. There were snow banks on the sides of the road as we drove up to Clingman's dome trailhead. At times along the way, you would see little snowmen that people would have built. ... over Raven Fork to eat lunch and I climbed down on the rocks to get some pictures. Raven Fork Falls, an eight-foot cascade, was here though it’s a bit of a stretch calling it a waterfall.
