... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights. Today was a ridiculously fun day. We started early with a 6:15 alarm but it was totally worth it. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Longmont last night knowing that our night of sleep would be short. Our friend Nathan met us at 7am and we carpooled to Keith and Kevin's home in Denver. We had a quick cup of coffee and all piled into the van and drove to Larksburg for Renaissance Festival.

Renaissance is a great place to people watch ...

... and said goodbyes as Fred and Dave flew out later Monday. In the afternoon Karyn, Jeanne, and I went up to Washington Park and then Cherry Creek to explore those areas, made a short stop at a wine bar, then went back home and stopped at the infamous Noodles for dinner.

Within a few minutes the bus to take us to Dulles arrived and we hopped on – the whole process of getting from the hotel to Dulles was very efficient and really cheap – about $13 - $14 each. We must have arrived at the airport around 8.15 or a little earlier.
