... City. We did a side adventure to East Canyon State Park, but had to traverse 15 miles of winding, steep roads to get there. Sheila admitted later that she had her eyes closed part of the way!

We are going to try a different route back to Salt Lake City. It is about 20 minutes longer, but it is supposed to be

... majestic space followed by another. You'd think you'd get numb to it, but you don't. We'd like to know, actually, if we can move to Utah. Because it's not just beautiful: it may also be the only place on earth where in-n-out burger and chik-fil-a peacefully coexist. It's Strippants heaven. I got a stomach virus and was in bed for a couple days. Maybe our bodies were telling us that being in a car for 3 weeks and putting over 4000 miles on the car might be a little too much for us at this age. I don't know?? Finally by Thursday we took off on a ...

Grand Junction to Ogden - Great ride

A travel blog entry by s1hends9 on Jul 22, 2012

... to Evanston WY, then took another cool road (39) into Ogden, UT. The last 10 miles took us thru a canyon pass thru the Wasatch Mountain Range - river on one side and canyon wall on the other - beautiful. Spending the night at the local Best Western, which is probably the nicest BW property ever! And Ogden with the Wasatch Mountains on 2 side is very scenic. Unexpectedly Great day! (370 mii).
