We have just come back from a lovely trip up to Lake Konigssee, and a boat trip down the lake to St Bartholoma. The lake is nestled between the mountains, and is 602m above sea level with an average depth of 150m. It is the cleanest lake in Germany, with the water being pure enough to be classified ...

The van was a sweat box by 8 (we were told we would have morning shade) so we got up to try a slight air movement outside. A slow morning as every movement is exhausting! But breakfasted and out for 10ish. We decided to take the bike path into Salzburg centre. It was a beautiful walk, mainly shaded with ...

Fortunately everyone dispersed pretty quickly afterwards. I'm glad I got back when I did.

Despite the slight hangover, I'm glad I got to experience the beer drinking side of Munich. Beer halls are fun, though the sheer amount ...
