Still alive, we traveled back to Salzburg slowly, walked the river by night and checked out the cathedral all while consuming pumpkin soup, chocolate, apple strudel and coffee.

We enjoyed it thoroughly and found it to be one of our favorite things here in Salzburg. Uniquely enough, we paid after the tour, and then said so long, farewell to our guide. She did an excellent job. We did learn that many (especially elderly) Salzbergers do not take kindly to the tours ...
