As if all the ice was not bad enough the road ahead is closed and a diversion has been set up. This diversion is a long muddy road through a field. Trying to ride this muddy road in darkness was simply hell to say the least. I stopped one of the locals and asked directions to the hotel and he informed me its about 500 yards on my left and sure enough it was.
