      ... I came up yesterday.

      After taking the fork the road down this section heads down into a massive deep valley and gently drops as it hugs the edge of the mountain.

      After about 5 or so miles the valley becomes narrow and the road starts twisting its way down a magical pass in all directions. Some of the pass has been reconstructed over the years and various sections of old road can be seen as I descend.

      ... IPad and I was well beaten by Jenny as is mostly the case. No Wifi in the room but it is advertised so will ask about it. Was not too interested in the TV show which had naked men and women dancing with a block of concrete.       pleasant driving. This is a main north-south arterial route.


      Stopped at Camping Corones. Luxurious site, with heated
      sanitary facilities and a heated outdoor pool, but somehow we did not like it.
