... Light crouching as my throat is dry from not having my water after my last plain latte.  With sweater in plane llike having thick flur coat in an oven!  Wondering when the plane going to take off, start to feel sleepy now hope can catch some rest before Graz.  Finally the planne is moving! My EVG host Hermann brief me the program that he has planned for me for my next few days visit.  After lunch, my very first Austrian lunch from the cafeteria, not bad for canteen ...

Die letzten Tage noch zu Haus verbracht...voll angenehm. Aber jetz gehts wirklich los...endlich. Bin schon gespannt obs wirklich so ist wie ichs mir mittlerweile vorstelle, vorbelastet von Büchern, Internet etc. ...

We had a 3-hour guided tour which at first I thought was going to be way too long, but it was actually very nice! We saw a lot in the city including going to the top of the mountain to the clock tower and overlooking the whole city; the controversial modern art building that looks like an organ of the body; walking over the bridge where lovers put locks with their names on the fence and throw the keys in ...

... by the audience. After the interval the orchestra played two pieces under the direction of Bobby Gallo and then he handed the baton to a guest conductor. The girls managed magnificently in a challenging situation. A massed choir of 200 singers from many nations joined the orchestra on stage to produce an electrifying performance. It was a joyous occasion and a wonderful way to end our stay in Graz.

... to focus only on their faces. However, we couldn't stay for it all because hungry girls need to eat so it was off to find lunch before the Awards Ceremony at 1.00pm.

The Awards Ceremony was unbelievable. We were all in the auditorium where they had sung in the morning and is was full, with standing room only. All conductors were invited on stage and the presentations began. This was where the results for the Barbershop section would be announced and we ...
