    ... housed a small palace which was beautifully decorated with ornate ceilings and wood carvings. We also visited Mozart’s house and learnt all about his life and were able to view many of his personal items, which was rather interesting.     ... ice cave in the world. I can't believe we slept in. After arriving at Werfen we both ended up having an hour nanny nap and din't go to bed until just after 11pm, we din't wake this morning until 9am. the idol life seems to be setting in...lol. Even before we had coffee I drove the short distance to 'Burg Hohenwerfen Fortress' to ensure we got parking. After getting ready we chose the 20 minute steep walk up to the castle instead of the lift to get a little exercise. ...

    ... us being weird). We also put one on for lees oma & grandad. The hotel room was massive!! It has 2 double beds, a single bed and a large desk in the room and there is still room to have a party! We're about 10 mins walk into town past about 20 shoe shops. Austrians must like a good shoe?! Italia bound tomorrow and fingers crossed the weather will stay sunny ...

    ... than it used to be), much rest and relaxation, and had the pleasure of spending each day with Emma and Tim, who is now a friendly and very endearing two year old. We played - and Tim taught me how to play football like a pro.

    Wednesday 28 May Schloss This morning we set to walk up the Schloss, the fortified area overlooking the town. It was raining so we popped into a church to have a little look around. A service was starting so we sat down and partook. A great organ and a singer led some of the hymns. Interesting hearing the hymns sung in German as they really are very syllabic, one note per syllable. ...
