... far as Strasbourg with our gears getting worse and worse so when a British woman offered to take us to a bike shop we didn't decline! Half an hour and 7euros later we were on our way with a choice of gears...luxury! We had lunch by the canal and decided we didn't have time to explore cultural sites (simon was thrilled) so carried on our journey, we have yet again slightly underestimated how many miles we have to do so tanked 40 ...

After regathering at 2:45, we were split into three big groups for a walking tour ...

campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

... for us. A true gent.

Back to Herman for a good nights sleep and early trip to supermarket next morning. The earlier evening I had lost the key to the toilet block and we had thought that was that. But on return from the supermarket we saw it glinting in the sun on the path just near our pitch. Our luck was in. Or should I say my luck, We could now use the toilet block for our more .... how shall I put it, .... lengthy requirements. For those of you out there not familiar ...
