      Bus ride to Black Forest this morning. Walk through medieval Colmar this afternoon. Breisach was first European city. During the 30 years war, inhabitants dropped from 9000 to 900. Stork cam setup on roof of church to watch the storks nest. Trucks are not allowed on autobahn from 10 pm Friday night to 10 pm Sunday night. They must pull off road and wait until they can resume.
