Fantastic time spend with family and their friends on the lake. Had a bit of trouble with an inflatable, swimming in the lake was brilliant. Saw an eagle and beautiful large dragonflies. Boys. Went tubing and sailing and fast trips in speed boat. Great fun was had by all! Ate dinner near the lake - pizza for everyone ...
... Prescott and boy it is warm, especially in our riding gear. All the local riders are wearing jeans and teesshirts and most don't wear helmets (not law in this state and many others in the USA ).

... it was weird as promised. We got a free sticker for our Coleman stove and they let Chico walk through! They had some authentic and some reproduced torture devices and a lot of information on how things used to be. The large John Gacy exhibit was the most interesting IMO.
We briefly wandered the rest of 'The Dells,' tried some cheese curds, and got out fast.

Sat -Rained last night in Freeport IL. Cool wet and over cast this morning. We hit the road around 7 am heading for Merrimac Ferry. The Ferry closes over the Wisconsin River back and forth every half hour or so 24/7. It holds about 15 cars and it follows 3 cables as it cross. I wanted to get to the Ferry from the south and cross over to the north side to head for Baraboo. But I came in from the North so we crossed ...
