Day 26 Today we ventured into Red Wing - a pretty little town - famous for the manufacture of pottery and Red Wing Boots. Six beautiful churches were within a block of each other? It is labour day so few shops were open. Although we managed to find one store with the prettiest of Christmas ornaments. Christmas in Red Wing is also big - ...

11th-12th July A long day of traveling yesterday, we crossed the whole of Wisconsin. We drove to Milwaukee first to the Miller brewery where we had a tour, it was more about the history of Miller and their production capacity, than about beer making. We then drove to Madison, the state capital for lunch, it was a nice city, not very big, but with lots of independent shops and cafes. ...

    Great day on the lake

Fantastic time spend with family and their friends on the lake. Had a bit of trouble with an inflatable, swimming in the lake was brilliant. Saw an eagle and beautiful large dragonflies. Boys. Went tubing and sailing and fast trips in speed boat. Great fun was had by all! Ate dinner near the lake - pizza for everyone ...
