... This is fairly small but still housed a good collection of cars and
motorbikes. There was a WWII exhibition on as part of it so they had
a bunch of war vehicles too. The females were bored, the males seemed
more interested, we were only there about half an hour.

The weather cleared mid afternoon and
since Balboa Park also houses the San Diego Zoo, we went at 3.30pm.
The first thing we did was the open double decker bus tour. We were

... Small, no roads, no cars, no motorbikes. Only can get around by walking, or by boat. Basic places to stay, cheap! Okay beaches. Not a lot to do. But did I mention super cheap! People stay here a while. Best place to stay - Sawadee- Basic, but built nice! *6. Ko Phayam- near Ranong and Burma as well. Great island! No cars, just motorbikes. Pretty beaches, not too many visitors, still quiet! Great local feel to it. Very pretty, very clean. Great bar there called the Hippie Bar, ...

... as we know it today began here and about the families that lived here. The tour lasted about an hour and afterwards we walked around the shops and saw the haunted house. Kirsty wanted to go in but I knew we would regret it so we opted for a few drinks instead. It feels like we are already in Mexico. The next couple of days will just be sorting out things for Cancun. We have a long journey ahead and a lot of waiting around. It will all be worth it though and we can not ...

2 days trip to San Diego

To begin with, I didn't make it to Tijuana, Mexico. There wasn't just enough time, particularly since driving back across the boarder may include hours of waiting...and we were late anyway, for it took us six hours instead of two to get there due to an accident involving burnt cars, dead people and the closing of all except one lane.

San Diego was enough anyway, with Balboa Park, USS Midway, Seaworld and a shopping spree right next to the ...
