      ... a last paddle in the Pacific. It was not the best sandy beach but had great breakers and I got soaked. Just as well my suitcase was in the car. Here we saw Amtrak trains!       ... like to call it here, we make a stop for lunch near the hotel but we go to a pub called McP's for our lunch, it's famous for being a pub that the US to Navy Seals go to, no one here is looking to be a SEAL to me, but we have a nice lunch then get back on the trolley.       ... re staying for a few days so we were able to do laundry and set up a good temporary home. It was early yesterday so we were able to go into the city. We walked around a bit of downtown and then went to Pacific Beach in Mission Bay. The beaches are only 15 minutes away from downtown! There are beautiful palm trees everywhere here and the beaches are beautiful. We found a good restaurant for happy hour and supper ☺️ We went back up into the mountain at dark last night. ...
