          ... It was first a gold mining town, but when the gold ran out, it was pretty much done for. I enjoyed walking around there, peeking into windows and seeing the belongings left everywhere. In the schoolhouse, there were books still lying around on desks like the kids would be coming back from recess anytime now. I also looked into many different saloons. Obviously, I reenacted a shootout in front of one of them, old west style.

          ... to $4.50 a gallon ----- reinforcing the fact that it is one of the greatest rip offs to the people. Heading into another small town, one of the locals had put a "Speed trap ahead" sign......pretty bad when even the locals know (and post signs to help stop) the police around Nevada are using these 25mph areas to screw them and travelers over - with unneeded and B.S. speed traps - that are not for safety....just greed. Okay, done my ranting ...
