Juris and I and a few of his mates shared beer and wings (very delicious) and then The game where the Pats, the local boys, had a close fought win. My first game of ice hockey live. It certainly is a fast physical game. Wish I knew more of the rules but had a great time just the same.

... home. Get in at a half decent time in the evening, but likely about 24 hours awake.
Hopefully the trip home won't knock us down for a week after - like the trip back from Ireland did. Oh well, we can just relax and sleep for a week if we have to.

... slow drive to get home. It was a mini blizzard so at times we only had a few meters visibility so we were driving as slow as 30kms at times, so it took an hour and a half extra and when we did finally arrive at Angela's after 10.30pm the driveway was covered in snow so deep we couldn't even drive up it. Ange had to get out and snow blow it so we could pull into the garage. We unloaded the car and put things away so we didn't have to worry the next day. Ahh bed ...
