Today is Ground Hog day, and depending on which one you refer to, we will have either 6 more weeks of winter, or spring should arrive about the middle of March.

It has almost been a year since we booked out cruise!! My, how time flies (NOT)!

... Finished the evening with a tasty dinner at The Berry Barn where Wen tried her Saskatoon berries at last.

      WEDNESDAY:

Vicki and Jim took us north of Saskatoon to Prince Albert National Park, one of their favourite places in Saskatchewan. There is extra process at the gates in Amsterdam - extra questions, validating of passports, going through security again ... but they let us through and we make our flight, and with better seats to boot!!! Super happy about that.

We were on the road at 7.30am to Keystone where Mount Rushmore is. We had to pay $11 for a parking pass to enter the area. All the businesses were closed up for the winter but it was obvious that the town must get packed during the summer months with all the touristy activities there were to do. We walked up the paved walkway and got plenty of photos of the 4 faces carved into the rock mountains. The faces are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt ...
