    ... seeing in any other way - I certainly would not drive out there. Had a nice champagne breaky & headed back to Vegas via a tour past Old Vegas & The Strip. Back to the hotel by 9:30, conned into a 'timeshare-not-timeshare' presentation for cheap tickets for later that day, and back to sleep. Agreed to meet at 11:00, but that time came way too quickly & ended up sleeping until 1:30 pm! Maybe it was jet lag, or just plain tired from an early start, but ...

    ... br> We then went to a limit game, which is less exciting and less high pressure. In this game the maximum raise is $2 and then $4 on the turn and river. I was up about $30 at one point but then with a Ace-5 in my hand and a flop of 5-5-4, I lost a lot of it to a 5-4 and ended up only making about $4. My Dad lost $16 and now says he is keen to play a no-limits game.

    ... well-known Casinos but that is all we had time for, as we needed to get to the airport.

    We dropped our car off and waved goodbye to our Seattle – Vegas road trip, in which we covered around 4,500 miles in total. Time to hit the East Coast, starting with Florida Keys.

    Las Vegas has been absolutely spectacular and a complete change from the rest of our trip. There are still a few bits we were not able to squeeze in, like the Grand Canyon, so that gives us the perfect excuse to come back ...

    ... were too early to eat lunch but finding a lunch venue proved interesting in that there was no where! We turned off what was a sizeable settlement on the map but the main road dirt track led to sporadic houses interspersed with closed down shops or community resources and nothing much else.
