    ... to downtown Syracuse to see the Erie Canal Museum, rated second best of Syracuse things to do by TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor reviewer, Larry W., calls the museum a "Great Little Museum that tells a fabulous story." (link). So true. We loved it! It’s housed in the Weighlock building on the original Erie Canal.
