A travel blog entry by barbh5889 on Jun 11, 2014

Well we made it out of Chicago after findibng out around 1:30 pm that our original flight was canceled. We had planned to leave at 2:30 pm to get to the airport in plenty of time for our 6:50 pm flight. After spending an hour getting the run around from Delta we finally found out that the group was booked on a 5:30 pm flight to LaGuardia after wihich we would have to get a taxi to JFK so we could catch our 11:50 pm flight to TelAviv. We got to the airport in time to get our ...

It was our first time seeing snow in the middle of a city. Pretty cool!

After checking in, the first thing we do after flying for 16 hours is jump into a cab and tell him to take us to the nearest Best Buy so we could buy sim cards, what ends up happening is WE (more like Will) tell him where the nearest Best Buy is! - because the cabbie didn't even know.

Weatherzone told us it was -1 but feels like -3.7! OMG! Take ...

Look into companies that cover more than just your home. Most insurance companies offer multiple policy discounts. It is also easier to keep track of your policies if you have one company and one agent.

An audit is a great way for you to improve your policy. Homeowners often pay far more for insurance than they need to, given the value of what is actually ...

... in the head countless times. Needless to say I stupidly don't have my rain jacket so I'm soaked, then as I'm heading back to the hotel some idiot (or as they love to call people over here, *******) runs out of his apartment building without looking slamming into me, knocking me to the ground, and what knuckles weren't already skinned are now, so I'm soaked and bleeding again! The guy did apologise as he got into his limo! Get back to ...

... down the pier, then back through the indoor shopping strip / amusement arcade. I had expected a different feel to the place this time (as opposed to previous visits) due to the warmer weather, but it was exactly the same - few people, bored shop assistants, rather tacky merchandise. In fairness, it was still quite early in the day and the place had been humming when we came here last week to dine and watch ...
