... stop while the boats get let through. Jonty has an amazing view with balcony's looking out to Michigan lake/Navy pier on one side and the city/river on the other. After watching the bridges rise to let the boats in off the lake we wrapped up (I borrowed one of his wife Theresa's coats) and headed down to Navy pier. It was pretty touristy but that's what we're here to do! It was really windy and cold on the pier so snapped a few photos with the ...

Today was much better than most other days. We had a ramp capable of supporting more than enough trucks, and had a very large stage. What was really nice about this amphitheater was that is was another one with a balcony.

Apparently at night water shows happen every hour and are choreographed to music and lights a bit like the Bellagio Fountains. We walked down to Lake Michigan and strolled alongside it back to our hotel. It reminded me a lot of Lake Geneva.

That evening we had planned to go up Hancock tower to have drinks in the lounge on the ...

We had everything planned for smooth departure and it was going well,
until the reality of air travel slapped us upside the head. Our flight to Miami (with connection to
Liberia Costa Rica) was scheduled for the ********* of dawn 5:30 am. Not wanting
to get up 2:30 am, we opted to stay at my aunt's casa in Niles..a mere 15min from
O'Hare thus allowing an extra bit of tossing and turning. Buzzing with
excitement, and unable to sleep, we were up by 3:00 awaiting our ...

Back on my way and after spending the night in a place nobody can remember the name of we arrived in Chicago.
