    Flyin to New York

A travel blog entry by barbh5889 on Jun 11, 2014

Well we made it out of Chicago after findibng out around 1:30 pm that our original flight was canceled. We had planned to leave at 2:30 pm to get to the airport in plenty of time for our 6:50 pm flight. After spending an hour getting the run around from Delta we finally found out that the group was booked on a 5:30 pm flight to LaGuardia after wihich we would have to get a taxi to JFK so we could catch our 11:50 pm flight to TelAviv. We got to the airport in time to get our ...

... arrived an hour later, it's fair to say, you've probably never seen anything like it in your life: Sarah quite accurately mistook if for a quiche not so long ago. This thing has a doughy base, then toppings of every variety are loaded in, then the cheese is added, then the tomatoes. It's so, so good- but so, so filling. Without a doubt the worst thing we could have possibly done after eating this pizza pie was to lie down and go straight to sleep- but that is exactly ...

... My worst fears were confirmed when Hertz charged us $61 for a full tank. Very poor service as we had shown and demonstrated a full tank on the forms. I have since emailed Hertz for a refund and have had no response 3 weeks later. Horrific service and when back home Ill be lodging a complaint. Anyhow besides this annoyance we headed through security and prepared to wait for our flight. Another horrible coffee later and we boarded the smallish plane bound for Chicago. ...

... s given up on trying to be a WR. Despite being sacked twice and one interception Cutler looked as if he could flourish in Marc Trestman's new offense. One complaint about Jay was that he went 4 of 5 for 38 yards (not exactly Tom Brady figures) for a passer rating of 98.3 and those four all went to Brandon Marshall. This may have been as a result of this being Marshall's first game back after an off-season hip surgery and they wanted to give him as many reps as possible. As ...
