... Ok, I saw more NO police on one block than I saw in the rest of trip combined. It looked like someone fleeing and the place was surrounded. I saw one guy who the cops liked because he was getting stainless steel bracelets as a gift, but he had to turn his back to get them. I guess there was more to DWB. I saw more FL state troopers on I 10 than anywhere but Louisiana. They were out in ...
... Freon so that they could fill it to the proper amount. When they finished with it, they said it had too much Freon and had to take some out, but still had to charge me $165.00. Said the compressor was burned up, but they couldn't fix it. I paid the money and as we turned to walk out, he handed it back to us and said "have a good trip". How Great was That, ...
... have been 5 weeks and several hundreds of miles of driving it like that. Finally convinced them we were not taking that coach in that condition. Max felt really good to us.
... guide' to our spot which was long and level, but narrow. Had to swing the coach out on a narrow entry road to get it between the concrete pad and electric post. There was a 3 ft high set of 4 metal electric pipes beside the entry road that I caught the back end of Max on. Wouldn't have been bad except it had been hit before and the top was bent out and the ends were rolled up. So Max now has a 'boo'. Nothing major, but an irritant.
We spent a very fast paced 3 days with our grandsons. We took them for the day on Sunday and anyone that has ever kept 3 little boys, 8, 7 and 6, know that is a tiring:)
We took them back to the camper for lunch and over to see the light house on St. Marks. There is a little hiking trail that the boys enjoyed. Overall a great visit. Also our oldest just got a house and we helped by keeping the boys away so they could paint the day away.
