        • Easy drive but really didn't get far?!..despite explicit instructions I managed to get turned around ( ie lost)leaving Kitchener just as I did entering it!!!...not an easy "on/ off" from 401!!

The Appalachians are firmly astern of us now, but we moved north and west towards Ohio and there were still plenty of rolling hills and lots of trees to keep us interested.       Last night in Monroeville, another cyclist came into town to stay at the shelter. It's so large that they have accommodated over 25 cyclists at one time. It's been so long since I've talked to someone else doing a journey. His name is Patrick. He's very thin, has a bushy strawberry blonde beard, and a Bianchi bike that weighs about 100lbs.
