It's now time to experience the wilds of Canada in the Kananaskis Valley about an hour out of Calgary. It took some time to pack the car with all the camping gear and it seemed like that were going for some weeks and not just 2 nights. Once the car was packed it was of to Sushi boat for lunch , very delicious and then to Tim Hortons for some different flavoured desert Timbits. We travelled on the trans Canada highway # 1 ...

We covered it in the traditional Canadian maple syrup! It was so yummy! There were tables out and live music with ...

We've moved to Cochrane and staying at Bow River RV park. Small sites but a little patch of grass, trees and shrubs make it private. Mickey isn't pleased; it's not much wandering area for him. Another spectacular day full of wonderful views of the Canadian Rockies, more lakes, chateaus and castle hotels. I'm at a loss for descriptive adjectives describing the beauty here...I've over ...

... was a large "truck" with its extra large trailer at the end, but at the front of the vehicle attached was a slip on unit that carried a motorbike. Over the course of the journey there are motor homes everywhere, some even towing cars behind them!

After a further 1 1/2 hour drive to get to Calgary we hit some rain, and had a good snooze in the bus. Finally getting into town we did hotel drop off' sand said farewell to our Rockey Mountaineer ...
