Calgary is a spread out city which seems to sprawl for many miles. Coming into the city the weather gets worse so we head straight to the hotel and decide to check-in then drop off the hire car at the airport. Between the road works, poor signage and a Garmen that was extremely persistent we spent the next hour driving in circles, encountering blocked roads and circling the airport until we finally worked it all out.
