    During my 8 hour layover in Atlanta, Georgia I decided to go see the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial. He was an amazing person that led the American civil rights movement and changed history for many people with non violence and I wanted to learn more about him rather than in a book or TV show. Seeing this in person is a very different and rewarding experience.

    ... We are kissed not the knob by a fairy. She showed us on a map to catch the Skytrain around to D23, we are at C14. That's on the other side of the airport. After about 5-10 minutes on the skytrain we arrived at our stop. We didn't have far and we were there. The skytrain was awesome. It's like a monorail that goes around in an oval around the airport.     ... to my good friend Michael Martin. In July I was going to
    visit him in Japan, but with his time-off being removed (military related),
    which neither of us expected or could control, I was sadly unable to go.

    Delta was unable to give a refund on the ticket, but
    instead said they could apply the remaining balance, after the cancellation
    fee, to another ticket (had to be my name on the boarding pass for it to
    apply somewhere else).
