To allow for this, as it wasn’t an option to move the railroad to accommodate the building's foundations, they developed a complex roof truss from which essentially the building is suspended.       ... to Macey's and bought some suitcases to continue our trip...they are a nice chartreuse colour ..will stand out on the luggage carousel! Den and Pete also bought a large bag to put their stuff in. We then decided to be adventurous and catch the subway to the nearest station to our apartment.
