... us that we had just missed Arlo Guthrie who played across the street two days prior. He even played the full Alice's restaurant, would have been awesome to see. However as always when travelling in a bus we are too slow getting there.

The next morning we walked around the Gettysburg battlefields and grave sites. Went to the visitors center and viewed the museum and cyclorama. All very interesting and very well documented. In the ...

I tried the six tastings, I have eaten everything from cheese made inside dead pigs guts, marrow from the pigs trotter, all the organs, birch beer, I forget all the others. It's 55 here in York (with 56% humidity), and in three days' time, I'll be on the Equator. I can't imagine that won't seem a little oppressive. Right now, it's in the low 80's in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, and the humidity is going to top out at 90% today. I'm glad I get to experience a little bit of fall weather before I leave, because it is my favorite ...

There's a plaque in Hershey commemorating Chamberlain's scoring record. Chamberlain, by the way, is also known for his scoring -- off the court. He claims to have bedded 20,000 women -- though it's tough to make the arithmetic work. Someone once calculated Chamberlain would need ...
