Last November, Matt and I bought year passes to Universal Stuios/Islands of Adventure. Since then (though not always documented on this blog!, Matt and I have vacationed there 10 or so times.
We noticed that our pass would expire on 11.25.13 so figured we would use our passes one more possible time. We stayed at the Wingate by Windham …
... pool has to be seen to be believed. I've never seen such a massive one, it wasn't freezing either. There are some gorgeous features around the edges of the pool with water falling from them. Nearby are at least 2 enormous slides. There are loungers all around the edge and I found a spot for my book and my sunhat and I was in. After drying off a little and reading, I decided it was definitely an occasion calling for a drink with an umbrella in it. I headed into the lobby ...
... shapes, and then Chloe found a water play area where she could go down special little slides for special little people!
Rather sad that this is our last night here - you could easily spend a couple of weeks here, dipping in and out of disney and enjoying the pool, beach and all the activities on offer...but more of Florida for us to see. It is Fort Myers for us next tomorrow....
