We awakened to dense fog this morning that never seemed to burn off. The next morning we drove into Wilmington. I had read that downtown Wilmington had a pretty nice atmosphere and we were not disappointed. We walked around Front Street and the Pier and enjoyed North Carolina for the first time since we had entered it.
