    Day 10

Back on the road today! We were set to do 60 miles which is now starting to feel like a normal day. My legs aren't half a sore as I thought and my bum has definitely broken into the saddle some more! The road was generally flat as it snaked beside Lake Erie, with some really nice views along the way. We stopped off around 20 miles in for some really good food at a place called Boomerang before setting off again to do the last 40 miles in one. ...

... would expect in a state park, but, instead it is a long looped road that takes you from one end to the other with beaches and boating and lighthouses along the sides. After we left the center, we were admiring a house across the street when a woman walked up to the ...

... us at first but as soon as we started talking to him, he got all excited and squirmy. He flipped over on his back to let John give him a belly rub. So cute!

Had some decent shows today though one man who was somehow misinformed about the cost of face painting made one of the intermissions not so fun (he claimed he was told it was free and we explained it’s never been free). But beyond that, it was another beautiful weather day so that trumps a grumpy guy. ...

Contrary to popular (or at least, my) belief, North East is an actual town name, not just a vague directional point in Pennsylvania. This town is exactly 408 miles away from Dalton, MA and I don't think it’s over exaggerating at all when I say that all of us who drove it felt every single mile by the time we dragged ourselves onto the lot.

John and I took off after the last Dalton show and drove until ...
