... around 10am and was greeted by his dog, Lucy (also my grandmas name!!). She is a 4 year old beagle/security guard for Jim! Lucy was pretty protective over Jim and it was pretty cute. He said she isn’t so good with visitors and is a bit jumpy….she came over to us several time just to sniff us but wasn’t keen on being petted yet….maybe next time.

After talking and catching up with Jim, he said he wanted to take us out for lunch. ...

Today we arrived in Jamestown, home of the funniest lady ever, Ms Lucille Ball. After booking into our motel, we made our way to the Lake View cemetery, which was very close to where we were staying to visit the grave of this great lady. Upon arriving at the cemetery, you are met with red love hearts that you follow down to the grave of Lucille Ball who is buried with her father, grandmother and brother. While I was thinking we ...

I've driven from Mayville, Wisconsin, through the top of Illinois, across Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and arrived in New York State. So 6 states in one day and over 600 miles. It's fair to say I'm exhausted, and I get to do it again tomorrow to get from New York State to Watertown, MA. One thing I didn't factor into ...

Jeff and i checked several spots for bass this morning. I landed one nice one before the river blew out. On another creek i spied several big catfish engaging in spawning rituals. I finally managed to get a big one to take! After a ten minute fight, i taped the behemoth at 31", by far my biggest ...
