    ... games someone sure is losing out on missed revenue....Tom said that for the 15 home games per year the town couldn't afford to add further seating and that the triple A teams only bring in 500 people per game...So although it's a nice stadium..it is one of the smaller ones.
    March 23....picked up our friends Rachelle and Dave from the airport in Tampa...making plans for the week with them. ...

    ... in the evening to enjoy the energy go the music and crowds...and Mexican cuisine to end the memorable night..
    Got the new summer haircut on wed. .....it always takes me a while to get use to the change....verdict is still out on that one. ...but.. Young Sarah at Master cuts was delightfully entertaining and did fill me in on some new locations to check out.

    Monday 16/3 - After fueling up we headed off to Tampa or more specifically Tarpon Springs which is a small Greek fishing village about 20 miles north of Tampa. It was recommended to us by some people we met on the cruise. Our GPS said it would be a 1 hr 45 min drive but it ended up taking us 2 1/2 hours due to traffic leaving Orlando and then around Tampa. The amount of traffic congestion is just amazing considering the roads are 3 and 4 lanes wide in one direction ...

    We had a fun weekend in Tampa with Kelly Goad, Joe Sternemann and Catherine Patterson. Lots of walking downtown and saw the Red WIngs game.

    Spent a leisurely drive through NW Florida to Destin, where we are going to spend time with Mike's brother, Dan in the panhandle area.

    ... where the bags are exrayed again. I mean, really, they have been sitting in the hold of the plane for hours and we just got them. It seems silly to us, but we comply and we are shooed off into the terminal.

    The next challenge is to locate our hotel for the night. We are staying at the Ramada Costa del Sol which is supposedly right across the street from the airport. We don't know exactly ...
