    Fun in Atlanta outside the car!

    Today started off perfectly with the ability to sleep in after yesterday's long trek. Breakfast at Highland Bakery one block away was delicious and put us right across the street from the MARTA station where we caught a train down to Centennial Park.

    Always fun to meet other travelers and the train provided us with a chance the chat with a nice couple from Sweden who were wrapping up a 3 week journey to the states. Quick ride into downtown and we managed to avoid getting ...

    ... br> FYI - all the superchargers had good amenities (restaurants, shopping, etc) nearby but Baton Rouge was the best. A Trader Joe's and a Pei Wei were perfect for lunch and road snacks.

    Blake enjoyed seeing his first (and 2nd, 3rd, 4th) supercharger as well as plugging it in a few times. Charged at a peak of about 345 miles/hr at each charger.

    We didn't take time for sightseeing but did spot an alligator ...

    ... which are just outside Athens... They ar stunning, and free a beautiful tropical greenhouse, a herb garden and a Physic garden... Then an international, flower, shade, native, an old fashioned settlers garden and a lovely group of sculptures at the visitor center. We could have stayed much longer. But as it was the end of the day we went to a converted garage called Teds for pizza, Happy Hour Beer at 2:50 and pizza... It's was nice as we could sit outside and people ...

    It was our last day in Savannah...boo hoo! We woke up to another beautiful blue sky but hotter day....it's to reach 30 today and it's muggy again. We walked down Liberty St to J Christopher's for breakfast...sat outside which was nice but the breakfast was only so-so. Guess we are spoiled at home with even White Spot let alone the brunches that are available. We left around 10:30 ...
