From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...
... Makes this Mama and Baba very happy. Auntie Phuong, Uncle Jeremy, Bennet, Ruby, and Story did not make it until after Addy went to bed, so they met her the next morning. We took a 40 minute drive on Highway 121 South to the zoo. At times the road was rather hairy with at least 4 lanes of traffic at 70mph and then crossing 3 or 4 lanes to exit onto an exit road.
