Wow! What a day today was!! It was exciting in every way. We got a relatively early start to the day and arrived at the Dallas World Aquarium when they opened. What an amazing place - it is much, much more than just an aquarium, as some of our pictures demonstrate. Animals from all over the world - the place is just gorgeous. I would go there again and again if we lived nearby!

... Had a look around the relatively small downtown area and saw a memorial to JFK, the skyscrapers up close and the restaurant district. Headed back to the hotel and had a look around North of the hotel where I found some more outdoor pubs. Had a bite in a diner, and yes the portions were massive.
Skyscrapers at night light up in various colours and designs which look really nice. Unlike Chicago I would like to come Dallas again as reckon there is more still to do. ...
