We left Edinburgh in our littleVauxall Corsa. I wondered if at the end of the long drive we would need a can opener to get Garland out of the car! After driving through Edinburgh and some of the rural roads Garland was assigned the driving which he did very well! On the way to Aviemore we stopped in the village/area where Garland's Uncle Rod was born. It was a gorgeous warm sunny day and it was so peaceful in the rural countryside.
... Prince Charley was to met the troops if things went bad, and they did go bad. It was here where he told the troops it was over and to go home. We arrived in Inverness about 5:15. We got our keys and went to our room in the Mecure. We relaxed until dinner. Jean took a shower and I checked e-mail. We had a group dinner at the restaurant in the hotel.
