and counted all the way down. But I lost count so I had to go back up.
And there was a staff up there and he said he would not tell me.
But I said 80 and he put his thumbs up and I was right.
It is the end of Scotland. I loved Scotland, Loch Ness lake, highland cows and the snow.
Scotland was the best country so far.

... many activities to keep the kids amused, playground, ping pong, giant checkers, indoor swimming pool and sauna and most importantly - SNOW.
The first day here we had to spend the day playing in it. Snow angels, snowball fights, snow
creations and we bought a sled and did some tobogganing.
Never thought we would own a toboggan.

Today we stayed home and had snow ball fights, didn't try to build a snowman.
And we were so happy because we got a sled. It is a thing that you sit on and go down steep snowy mountains.
The one we got is red with a white string to hold onto. We went out the back and played on that all day. We also had a couple of snowball fights.

... Pretty much every flat surface was clearly water logged and the rivers (quite large and quick flowing at the best of times) were all bursting their banks. There is no shortage of water in the highlands that is for sure.
Some of which goes in to making whisky.
At about the mid point between Stirling and Inverness is the Tomatin distillery. Possibly the most famous distillery you've never heard of. I was certainly not aware of it before now. But at one time ...

This part of Scotland is some of the most picturesque landscapes i've come across in my world travels. The hotel's cottage charm added to the experience with original wood fireplaces, plaid cushions, afghans and that homey feel. Don't expect modern conveniences of WIFI or hot water to work overly well up here, but the magic of the area should be enough to please ...
