    We fell in love with Brisbane. It is so quaint and charming and the people were incredibly
    friendly. Tom had a great Birthday; the details of which are included in the photos and

    ... some interesting and positive media developments at the home office to start my day off right. Things going well. Looking forward to combined church tomorrow with Gold Coast, Brisbane and two other congregations. Then over to a deacon's home for a fun evening tomorrow night.

    This has been a wonderful visit. The time spent getting to know each other has been invaluable.

    ... finally spread my elbows out, and laundry facilities. This was a good place to catch up on chores, do some washing (both clothes and us!) and we even managed to Skype some family which we hadn't been able to since Indonesia. We shared the apartment with an English/Irish couple who had the second bedroom. They were lovely and we shared some useful travel information between us.

    ... view of the top of NZ South Island. We picked up a hire car and checked in to a nearby motel. Next morning we drove past the Glass House mountains to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, here we took a rainforest trail and were treated to some unusual sights and sounds.
